I'd be happy with a static image! If I select 'I have a green screen' that can be enabled, but all the background clutter shows through. I don't understand why they would have that requirement, when there is no similar requirement for Intel processors. I am having the same issues and I have the same processor.. So it means we can't use background for now then? Actually, it seems to be more complicated. I downgraded to Windows 10 and I am still having the same problem. And with another computer, a desktop with an Intel processor, Core i7, 4 cores, 3. Something is wrong with Zoom.
I suspect that the problem is the shared video memory. It is interesting that the face recognition features, like party hat and eyebrows, do not seem to need that video memory.
Perhaps background recognition will catch up soon. Incidentally, last year their were party features like Christmas hats and antlers. I wonder when they will appear!
